Govt urges to postpone UPSC prelims exam till there is clarity on the syllabus

The ruling BJP Govt may form a committee to examine the issue of demand to roll back changes in UPSC syllabus. As per yesterday news Govt has urged to postpone the exam  till there is a clarity on the issue.

Demand to roll back the changes in UPSC prelims

The UPSC aspirants in Delhi are demanding the rollback of the changes made to UPSC civil service exam prelims syllabus in 2011. UPSC has introduces CSAT as second paper for 200 marks from 2011 in prelims paper, though it is a rational positive change aspirants from arts background are demanding to roll back the change.

CSAT paper which has 200 marks has covered only 10th level concepts which do not need any special knowledge training. With the old pattern which had more humanities than CSAT, aspirants from arts background been more compatible than science students. The currents pattern has the balanced syllabus and it covers all the points needed.
The demand though not from all the section of the aspirants got attentions since it is backed by ABVP which is the student wing of ruling BJP.

Lets Assume UPSC

The aspiration for being administrator in Karnataka civil service seems some time not rational, not for all.
The probability of success should be the criteria to start, but the success is multidimensional. It is not just becoming government servants but to learn the basic things that we might have missed in the course of our graduation.

Keeping all the negative points of KPSC away, lets assume we are UPSC as our dream.

RBI moves to curb black money

RBI moves to curb black money:

The Reserve bank of India has  decided to withdraw from circulation all currency notes issued prior to 2005.“From April 1, the public will be required to approach banks for exchanging these notes. Banks will provide exchange facility for these notes until further communication,’’ the RBI said on Wednesday, clarifying that notes issued before 2005 would continue to be legal tender.
“The public can easily identify the notes to be withdrawn as the notes issued before 2005 do not have on them the year of printing on the reverse side,’’ the RBI said.

From July 1, however, those wanting to exchange more than 10 pieces of 500 and 1000 rupee notes in a bank where they do not have an account will have to provide proof of residence and identity. The RBI’s move will have the effect of flushing out black money, according to bankers.

The move will have very good impact on many issues like

1 ) As per RBI the notes printed after 2005 has additional technical features which can control fake currency circulation.

2 ) The move will have effect on black money holders, since they have to submit their notes in banks with valid authentication.

3 ) Since the election is very near, and the black money will have a very huge effect in the elections in India, The move from RBI will have very positive effect on election also.

4 )  The move helps RBI to calculate the money circulation in the country, in-turn to calculate the inflation.

5 ) The move may help out to flush out the fake notes in the circulation.

Having all these positive points, we hope the process gives better for the country economy.

How KPSC Main exam syllabus may look like ?

UPSC has changed the syllabus for UPSC main examination from 2012. In line to this development KPSC may also change the syllabus of Main examination from the next notification for which we are awaiting.

With the new pattern coming in force from this notification, aspirants have many things new in this pattern.
The new pattern is the level playing game for all the students who are from different streams from their degree.

Good news here is, since it included vast syllabus and since it covers many areas it is same level for both old and new students.

Cancellation of 2011 notification..

Cancellation of 2011 notification, almost there ?

The notification for 352 posts of gazetted probationers is almost at the door step of cancellation. According to news published on 22nd and 23rd of Jan 2014 in Prajavani Kannada daily news paper.
According to the news the administrative reform committee has suggested Government to cancel the notification of 2011 batch and recommended for fresh notification including the new openings in Karnataka.
According to committee there is no meaning in going ahead with the current list since the irregularities have been proved in CID report. Now the report is with Chief minister Siddaramaiah, he may take the call very soon may be after consulting with his cabinet colleagues.

This news may  turn good for some students and bad for some more. But ultimate truth is we are changing the way things were happening. Hope our system change with the time.
