KAS Main 2012 result.
KPSC conducted gazetted probationers Main exam from Dec 15th 2012 to Jan 6th 2013. The exam started with compulsory Kannada and English on 15th of December and ended with Kannada Literature (Other literature subjects) optional subject on 6th of Jan 2013. Around 6800 people were qualified for main exam this year. I heard 400 people were absent for main exam. Best wishes to all those who wrote main exam this time.
The result of KPSC KAS exam 2012 will be announced before 18th of Feb 2013* (According to some source which is not confirmed yet). But it is only vague news. Ideally result should come before last week of Feb 2013.
Please share if you people have any info about result of KPSC KAS main exam 2012.

for everybodies kind information.. KAS valuation as not been completed...my information is very correct..still one week valuation is left..i can't say which paper.. but valuation is going on in bangalore only...
B.a. Anand no.. valuation is done by professor grade people from various university..many principals of govt college are doing..

Dheeraj Shetty by feb 2, valuation will be over,by another week tabulation by NIC will be over ie by feb 9 , but no idea abt results, for further info visit legislators house (shasakara bhavana) canteen in the afternoons n evenings ,the valuators come thr for lunch n tea everyday, i ve overheard their points of view regarding some answers n all..

Sharat Chandra Yes... People just spread rumours. Valuation is still on and then the marks will have to be tabulated which will be outsourced(Don't ask me to whom will it be outsource :P). Then KPSC will have to verify the tabulated results and then only they will come out with the final result.
Dheeraj Shetty @ sharat, on one occassion a few of weeks back in LH canteen, i heard some of them speaking abt the prospects of the regional parties in karnataka,only then i realised that guys sitting next to me were valuators, silently followed wat they were talking..one guy was stressing on the facts..like mentioning of the prominent regional parties in kar, jds,kjp,bsr..the seats they have, areas in which they are dominant..points like in the past some regionl parties have been merged with national parties like congress..like siddaramaih's party..etc..how the corruption cases can affect the prospects like the ones against janardhan reddy n denotificatiion scam of yeddy..etc..finally coalition era..combi of national n regioanl party as the option in case fractured verdict etc..,i think one guy who was valuing stats was saying tht candts had not attempted his section properly..so who ever attempted..he was liberal ....polity guys were discussing abt part a of ppr2 gs.., by the time i went lunch break was getting over ,or else would ve gathered more info..

B.a. Anand dheeraj is very correct...yes it is very true.. valuation is on in kpsc building only..or else neighbouring colleges like maharani's ,, r.c. college..

ReplyDeleteThere were news that result will be out by 2nd of Feb, then new date came which was 10th of feb .. now people started telling it is on 18th antha .. let's wait till 18th.. at least we'll get new date to wait.

ReplyDeleteKPSC should have a proper time table as UPSC do. these day count started from 1st week of Feb, people started telling result would be out by first week of Feb, now that we have seen all 26 days no result :( .. 2 more days left in this month. But I got news from reliable source that all process including tabulation is completed last week itself, only thing left is to upload the same to the website. Don't know what they are waiting for... I want a positive result aste.. KPSC say what u have soon .. better it to be today

Source can be trusted in this case (considering previous facts). so today we hav a fair chance of waiting for the result. But I am not concluding the point saying result is today. Only KPSC has to conclude... Any way tomm never dies ... and all the best for all aspirants ....... best luck for me :) hope I get 1200 marks ;)
